Charting two girls’ relationship from Winter to Spring, fleeting moments is a poetic meditation on what it is to see yourself in other people. Inspired thematically and aesthetically by films of the French New Wave, the film was shot using heavy improvisation. Reflecting on it, I want this to be the film I made when I was seventeen, with all those connotations; messy, emotional, and filled with a lot of heart. See it as a love letter, in many ways. To ourselves, to each other, to its influences, and above all, a reflection on what it is to say goodbye.
